Summary: "A Cracker Must"
Growing vegetables in Florida is different than anywhere else in the U.S. Recent transplants (human variety) and snowbirds (human variety) need the kind of guidance offered here. If they try to raise crops as they did in Iowa or Tennessee, they'll fail every time.

This book is a must have for anyone who wants to know what and when to plant in Florida. It is a very user friendly book and has lots of good photos along with lots of good information. My porch roof leaked and mine got wet and ruined and I immediately ordered a new one. I would not be without it!

Summary: "Where is Tom MacCubbin when you need him?"
I keep hoping Tom MacCubbin will release a new edition of Florida Home Grown 2: The Edible Landscape. I buy used copies for my gardening friends all the time. It's so much better than Stephens'. Vegetable Gardening in Florida is good, but Tom's is simply much better.
